1998 LEAGUES:

Kevin Carberry is planning a Necromunda tournament, Peter Colson is planning something similar but with WFB and Allister Nicholas will most likely be running a Man-O-War league. More details from these gentlemen as soon as they let me have them!

Necromunda Tournament in February

1997 WARHAMMER 40K LEAGUE:

The results from this league run last year will be finalised and published next month.

LAST MONTH'S GAMES:

GorkaMorka: Allister Nicholas (Gorkers) beat Bryan Orsbourne (Morkers).

Warhammer Fantasy Battle: Peter Colson (Lizardmen) beat Andrew Brailsford (Wood Elves).
beat may not be the right word from what I understand Peter knocked every Elf of the board.

Warhammer 40K: David and Jarrod (tyranids) beat  Kevin(IG) and Patrick(Squats)

round one the imperial forces missed everything they shoot at allowing the Tyranids to advance unmolested round two the Imperials got their act to gether a bit but by now the Tyranids where pretty close although many  a Tyrand died under Dwarfen heavy bolter fire round three much like round two but the eaters had got that little bit closer. Round four well the imperial line had started to crumble at the ends. Men were firing into hand to hand combat but all was not lost there was still a core of troops left, but that is where it ended I would have to give the odds as being 80/20 in the Tyranids favour but we weren't dead yet

Issue 217 of White Dwarf is out now. This month it contains a lot of stuff on Necronsas well as a free one on the cover. There is a big bit on the great new chaos stuff  and I do mean big. the new beast men army looked realy interesting to me. An article on table top terain takes up the middle of this month issue. some tatics for the new imperial pieces and a battle report of undead ( yeah ) verses Chaos ( boo )
