THE PETE-HOUSE FORUM.

Good-morning/afternoon/evening/whatever.Just a short column this month as I have no motivation to do anything.

Restrictions.

Over the last few months Kevin has been going on about magic item restrictions and so on, so I got to thinking that problems on restrictions can be found almost anywhere, so to prevent any annoyance I have proposed standard game format.

Warhammer: The standard game of warhammer will be as follows-

Equal points value

Special Characters may be used

Allies may be used

Standard magic rules from the front of the Warhammer Magic rulebook are to be used

Magic items are to be used strictly as the cards in the Warhammer Magic set say

Loser writes the battle report.

Any restrictions (no allies, magic revisited card mod’s, unbalanced points etc.) can be applied so long as both players agree at the previous club meeting.

In addition, the scenario played is the standard pitched battle (scenario 1 in the battle book) unless the players agree otherwise.

This way players can accept or turn down restrictions without giving away what their army will contain.

Warhammer 40K: The standard game is as follows-

Equal points value

Special Characters may be used

Allies can be used

Additional detachments can be used

Any restrictions must be agreed to by both players at the previous club meeting as above.

Also, standard mission army structure is to be used unless both players agree to use any different.

Tell me what you think. Later.

Peter.
