Battle Reports
Well this is better that last month still need more though .
Andrew Salisbury ( Dark Elf ) beat Ken Snow (Chaos) - A bit of a disaster for chaos here due to some very effective magic from Andrews mage. however the Chaos character knights fought on and annihilated a rather large unit of Dark Elf infantry before being destroyed.
Robert Davies (Chaos) beat Ken Snow (Chaos) - A much tougher game here with Roberts lord general being killed early on in the game. After that the battle raged with daemons, spawn and a fair number of humans being dying until Roberts greater daemon managed to kill the 2 chaos lords causing all the destruction.
Ivan Soo ( Empire) beat Bryan Osbourne ( mercenary) - you know you aren't paying your mercenaries enough money when a) they turn against each other at critical moments b) half your army runs from halflings c) when your super fast super nimble wizard on horse back gets over run d) your ogres get scared of empire halberds menacing looks. - a crushing victory (is there an other kind against Bryan - KC) for the empire clearly where richer and could afford higher quality troops and bribe half the enemy as well.
Ivan Soo (Marine ?) beat Peter Colson (Orks) -
| Senior Sergeant Monroe "Sir, The Orks have retreated. They fear our power so much that they have run even before battle is joined". |
| Captain Soo " Hunt them down. Let none escape our Retribution !" |
Arthur Young drew with Kevin Carberry - This was a fight over a small but important village in Russia in early 1943. The mission for both sides was to gain control of the village which sat in the middle of no mans land. The Germany sent in the 502 Heavy Panzer Division, the Russians sent on of the many tank brigades available to them. The Germany with their half tracks managed to occupy the village first. But outnumbered 2 to 1 by the Russian infantry where forced to retreat slowly through the village. All round a massive tank battle ensued with heavy losses on both sides. When the smoke cleared there where dead tanks littered around the village but no clear victory could be found. Both sides controlled half of the village each.

Hi there. Came across your South Auckland site the other week and had a look through. Do you know of any persons who would like to paint a warhammer army for me. It might suit some of the clubs younger players who want a bit of pocket money and are handy with a brush. If you could pass my email address on to anyone you think may be interested. Thanx a lot.David Hrstich [spirito@pop.ihug.co.nz]
