Battle Reports
Ivan Soo beat Ken Snow - Much to my embarrassment Ivan managed to beat me three times out four in this game, and usually for good tactical reasons as well. Somehow he always managed to get his artillery into a safe position where he could batter my infantry and force a general retreat, while at the same time spraying me with autocannon fire.
The game generally worked quite well with special rapid movement circuits for aircraft and helicopters, and long range fire for armored units. Using 1/300th scale models made the units a bit light which did have an effect on the game however the rapid responses in modern warfare mean that touch contact operation is a realistic option for this game
Glen Osbourne beat? Kevin Carberry Orslag the Odiferous was on the march again and this time Petal was with him all would fall, at least that what he thought. But where the hells was Stuka and Herman. Glens wood elves which where very few in number ( suspicious ) spent a lot of time dancing around and hiding in buildings shooting me with long bows. I don't know for sure who one but lets just say it was close.
Kevin Carberry beat Haden Piggot Ok so Orslag had seen the pointy heads off now what. Demons eeekkk. No worries the boys will handle them and when the pumpwagons flattened 500 points of bloodletters Orslags confidence went through the roof. It was about this point the Demon Prince cut down Boris the Giant with contemptuous easy. Orslags confidence did a major u turn and so did he following one of his first principles "run like hell" and he did till the game ended. had there been even one more turn I think a different outcome would have been in order
Ivan Soo beat Arthur Young The tyranids were slaughtered with very little left and taking very little out. On top of that the tyranids got the objective first and kept it. however in defence of Arthur, lack of terain was his down fall.
Has anyone seen Ivan's Dice they were in a bank bag ???
