Battle Reports

Ok Guys this is getting ridiculous where have all the battle reports gone, It use to be that the winner had to write some thing for the news letter. So From next meet onwards if you what to play the next month you had better get me SOMETHING or I will forget to put your names down on the list for games ( empty threat I know but you got to try ).

Kevin Carberry (Goblins) Beat Peter Colson (Empire) - as Orlag looked across the battle field his chest swelled with pride at the host before him, his boys had done him proud. they had fought so well for so long that it was sad to think that this would be one of their last battles together. The human's arrayed before him were numerous many armed with crossbows and a goodly collection of cannons in support. Well it was not the time to be standing still so Orslag gave to order to attack. Herman and Stuka went high and the havoc caused by the squig hoppers had to be seen to be believed (the look on Peters face was great). Every cannon turned on Bubba and after a couple of volleys bubba collapsed. but now Stuka landed in front of the cannons and Herman went boo and all the cannon crews ran for the hill. With the loss of his missile support the empire general was doomed his troops where slowly crushed and in the end he retired with honor.
